At Aziul Art, we are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing space where healing, growth, and creativity thrive. Our mission is to support individuals on their journey to wellness through the transformative power of art. Led by a qualified art therapist, we offer individual art therapy sessions and art as therapy workshops designed to promote emotional well-being and self-discovery.

Luisa Vargas
Luisa holds a master’s degree in art therapy from The George Washington University and is a board-certified art therapist (ATR-BC), as well as a qualified mental health professional for both children and adults (QMHP-C, QMHP-A). She is also a resident in counseling. With a strong background in individual and group therapy, Luisa brings a creative, trauma-informed, and client-centered approach to her work with children, adolescents, and adults. A dedicated visual artist, she has years of experience teaching art and leading expressive arts workshops—guided by her deep belief in the transformative and healing power of the creative process.
Art therapy
Aziul Art provides individual art therapy sessions for children, adolescents, and adults at EverWhen Therapy.Art therapy is an expressive therapeutic modality that uses the language of creativity to guide individuals toward self-discovery, self-acceptance, and personal growth.The art therapist first meets with the client(s) to determine their goals for working together. Then, she engages her client(s) in the creative process. She will provide support, encouragement, and a safe space for the creative process. After the artmaking, she encourages my clients to share their experiences and artwork while I guide them in self-discovery.

Aziul Art offers art and wellness workshops led by a board-certified art therapist. The workshops are planned for participants to explore the therapeutic potential of art-making while embarking on a journey to self-exploration and self-awareness.The goals of the workshops are:

- Promote wellness and healingAziul Art workshops offer a space for the curious and creative minds to have a voice.Art experience is not required for the workshops. The workshops are not group therapy.

Yoga and Art Series: Vibe at Your Own Frequency Through Your Root Chakra

Join us for the next session in our transformative Yoga and Art Series, where we’ll explore the Root Chakra—your energetic foundation for safety, stability, and grounding.Date: June 7, 2025

Suggested ages: 18+Through a unique blend of mindful movement, breathwork, and creative expression, you’ll connect to your body’s wisdom and unlock the grounding energy of your root. This workshop is designed to help you release tension, reconnect with your sense of belonging, and express your inner world through art.In this session we will engage in:Yoga Practice:
Immerse yourself in a gentle and slow-paced Restorative yoga practice focused on deep relaxation and stress reduction. It involves holding poses for extended periods, with the support of props like blankets, bolsters, and blocks, to fully support the body and encourage deep relaxation. The goal is to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting a state of calm and well-being.
Meditation:
Following your movement practice, drop into a grounding meditation designed to deepen your connection to the Root Chakra. Through breath, stillness, and guided visualization, you’ll anchor into feelings of safety, stability, and presence—cultivating a sense of rooted calm before moving into your creative flow.
Creative Process:
After the meditation, explore the free-flowing world of watercolor painting in a sacred sacral circle (mandala). Connect with the energy and colors of the Root Chakra as you mindfully express yourself, layering marks and details to complete your intuitive artwork.No prior experience is needed.Just bring an open heart and a willingness to explore!Presented by Luisa Vargas and Stefany Dorado.Please note: The workshop requires a minimum of six participants. - Catch, Challenge, & Change your worries -Date: June 28, 2025

Suggested ages: 8-12 yrs (Kids must be able to work with needles and scissors independently).
No parental supervision required during the workshop.Join us for a fun and creative workshop designed to help kids understand and manage anxiety. In this hands-on session, kids will craft their own Felt plushy Worry Monster — a cuddly companion to help catch, challenge, and change unhelpful thoughts, and learn healthy ways to cope with anxious feelings.This workshop blends art, emotions, and mindfulness in a safe, supportive space.Once registered, you will receive a personalized email containing forms that each participant must complete before the workshop date.
